This question gets me all kinds of responses.
“I feel like people love my art and I want people to see what I have to offer”. With artistic endeavors a financial desire MUST be baked in. In the end people need to monetize their life or monetize their passion so they can have more time and freedom to pursue that passion - it’s a noble end and we should acknowledge it right away. How will you support yourself as you dedicate yourself to your artistic way?
“I want to share my life with someone.” Loneliness sucks. No mystery there.
“I want to travel”. Why do you want to travel? “So I can experience beautiful cultures and see lovely things.” Booking a ticket and a hotel are easy, the life coaching part here is about finding you the time and money to get you to an exotic destination. It’s about finding what is holding you back from flying.
“I want to start my own business.” Oof. This is always a big one. Let’s break it down into bite size chunks and make this sustainable for the next 5 years.
Money without purpose is useless. Relationships in which you are not seen are meaningless. Sitting on beautiful beach and drinking to drown yourself is pointless.
I can assure you that no matter what you tell me your “why” is, I only hear one answer and that is: “To reach my Higher Self”. It’s the only game in town. Everything is a means to that. Money, relationships, travel, creativity, you name it, ALL of it points to: I want to FEEL more of what is within me. I can sense it is there, can you show me the way?
